Poway Arena Polo Club Welcomes Local Residents To Polo

Poway Polo Club would like to invite local residents to come out and watch our polo tournaments and to participate in one of our free lessons for first time polo students.  Adults and junior players of all levels are welcome to participate in polo at Poway Arena Polo Club.

Poway Polo Club offers a full range of polo lessons, clinics and tournaments for all level of play.  We have an active junior polo program, so if your kids love horses and if they are  interested in learning more about polo, please bring them by our club.

Following is the proposed tournament schedule for Poway Arena Polo Club for the 2010 season.

September 04 – Saturday – Labor Day Weekend Tournament
October 09 – Saturday – Fall Kickoff Tournament
November 06 – Saturday – Grandpa Paul Memorial Tournament
December 11 – Saturday – End of the Year Tournament

You may find yourself drawn to the speed and challenge of polo or to the experience of combining your passion for horses with a team sport.  If you are interested in learning more about polo and if you would like to take a polo lesson, contact Poway Arena Polo School.

Why give away a free polo lesson?
Because we know that once you try polo you will get hooked. It is one of the fastest team sports in the world and it is fun to play. If you love horses, enjoy fast sports or if you like the challenge of extreme sports you will love polo.

Who is eligible for a FREE polo lesson?
Men, women and children are welcome to try our “First Polo Lesson Free Program.” The participating club will provide the horse, equipment… all you need to do is call to schedule your lesson and show up. The free lesson is only valid for first time students of polo. *Some restrictions may apply.

Do I need to know how to ride a horse before I take a polo lesson?
No. Many of our players started in their first polo lesson with no prior riding experience.
